In 1971 Bishop Francis migrated from Jamaica to the United States where he attended Lehman College, then Pace University where he received a BA in Science. He then received his Masters from Trinity Theological Seminary and his Doctorate from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. Bishop Francis was one of the very few blacks to become a successful Wall Street stockbroker, in the 1980’s, before taking up full time ministry. He was also inducted into WHO IS WHO in America for religion.
Bishop Francis founded Monument of Faith Ministries and Operation ROAM (Reach Out Across Miami) a community outreach organization.
In 1998 Bishop Francis completed and dedicated the 1000-seat edifice located at 1956 NW 183rd Street, in Miami Gardens, Florida, where he is now experiencing a great move of God.
January 2018, we dedicated our new K-12 Grade Private School, and now working on the establishment of our School of Ministry and Christian International University.
He is also planning how to implement the third phase of his vision of a 200,000 sq.ft. Urban Youth Center.
Bishop Francis has preached on every continent of the globe as well as several states in Continental USA, preaching the gospel. He ministered in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, the Philippines and several Caribbean Islands, including the Bahamas and British Virgin Islands. In fact he preached to over 70,000 people at the Dai Sun Presbyterian Church in South Korea. He also preached to over 200,000 in Nairobi and Mombassa, Kenya, as well as to thousands in India and saw a mighty outpouring of the Spirit with healing and miracles taking place.. He won thousands of souls to the Lord in
Bishop Francis ordained three Bishops, seven Pastors, eighteen Elders and three deacons, at the 33rd Anniversary Celebrations of the Monument of Faith Ministries. His vision in 2018 and beyond is to empower and impact these leaders to be effective in the Kingdom of God. He is also involved in Global Web Training in the Phillipines, three African cities, South Korea and Jamaica
Bishop Francis has been recognized for his untiring work in the uplifting for the of humanity, and the development of his community, and has been given several awards. On January 28, 2018, he was awarded the prestigious Lifetime Ministry Achievement Award from Global International Empowerment Network which was presented to him by Fuller Theological Seminary . He also received awards two from the Church of God International for pastoring one of the Top 50 Churches in the State of Florida and for his outstanding contribution to the Certificate in Ministerial Studies (CIMS) and the Ministerial Internship Programs (MIP).
Bishop and his wife, Edna have been married for over 42 years, with four children, and three very special grandchildren. His children have all graduated from college with at least a master’s degree,. They have all committed their lives to Jesus Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit, and making their contribution to the Kingdom of God.
Bishop Francis has authored the book: Faith Still the Key to 21st Century Breakthrough
and is working on two other books titled: The Awakening and Kingdom Dominion.
Bishop Francis was one of the invited guests who visited the White House in January 2017.
